Arc’teryx, Vienna

Due Diligence, Design and Permitting

Arc’teryx’s first Austrian brand store occupies a complex site in Vienna’s historic Trattnerhof passage. Four floors, several staircases, existing passenger lifts and irregular geometry shaped the challenge: making the retail journey work within the building.

Understanding the space

We began with a full 3D scan to create a digital model of the existing conditions. Eight test fits helped the team explore layouts, circulation and the relationship between the customer experience and the store’s operational needs.

Working through the details

Our contribution included due diligence, design and permitting support, working with the brand team, landlord and consultants. The programme ran nine months from initial assessments to opening, with coordination throughout to resolve the demands of the site.
