Arc’teryx, Copenhagen and Oslo
Local Design and Delivery Support
Supporting Arc’teryx’s growth in Copenhagen and Oslo meant working with two distinct settings. Each store needed to express the brand while responding to its building, its customers and local requirements.
Responding to each city
In Copenhagen, the historic city centre setting and existing geometry shaped circulation and planning. In Oslo, site proportions, customer movement, materials and regulatory requirements informed the layout.
Coordinating the work
Early technical due diligence, successive test fits and close coordination with local stakeholders supported both projects. Each store progressed from initial due diligence to opening within an eight month programme. The work shows how a shared brand can be carried into different locations through careful attention to each site.
